Choose a convenient time for your consultation. We at Bluegrass Behavioral Health & Consulting Services offer flexible scheduling to fit your needs.
- Complete Your Medical Evaluation. Provide any necessary medical records. Our licensed provider(s) will review your eligibility according to Kentucky’s guidelines.
- Receive Your Certification. Once you’re certified, submit it to the state, pay the $25 state fee, and you’ll receive your official card.
- Initial Certification: $150
- Renewal Certification (Annually): $100
- State Fee (Paid Directly to the State, Annually): $25

Know Your Rights Under Kentucky Law
All certified medicinal cannabis patients in Kentucky must comply with the following regulations:- Valid Certification Required: In order to use medicinal cannabis legally in Kentucky, you must have a valid certification that is properly registered with the state. The initial certification visit must be in person with a licensed practitioner who will evaluate your medical condition to determine if medicinal cannabis is appropriate for you.
- Possession Limits: Kentucky law imposes strict limits on how much medicinal cannabis you may possess. All cannabis must be purchased from licensed dispensaries within the state, and you must stay within the approved possession limits to remain compliant.
- Approved Use Methods: Smoking cannabis is not allowed under Kentucky law. Approved methods for consuming medicinal cannabis, include vaporizing, tinctures, capsules, oils, and other non-smoking forms.
